Week-End #1 - Success for Valley Teams at Opening Provincials

VDSA reps started off the first of what will be a string of provincial championship weekends with a bang, bringing home two sets of silver medals.
The U-18 girls from East Kings lost 2-1 to Dartmouth in the championship game after going undefeated in round-robin play. Their victories were over Upper County (3-2), Cape Breton (6-0) and Halifax City (3-0)
Digby U-18 boys had a smilar experience as they defeated Halifax City (1-0) and tied Upper County (1-1) during round-robin play. They moved on to beat Halifax County 3-2 in the semi-final before falling 2-1 to Upper County in the championship game.
