VDSA Senior B Teams grab Provincial Playdown spots

With a spot at the provincial championships on the line and playing on turf for the first time this year, Valley Senior B teams came through big, shutting out their Metro opponents and advancing to this weekends event.
East Kings McGills knocked off the Dark Horses by a 2-0 count with goals by Jolene MacIntyre and Jenn Bishop to join Kings West LOU in Bridgewater this weekend for the Senior B women's event. Carrie Wood and Krista Bishop shared the shutout.
In men's action, led by a Tyson Broome hattrick, Chris Parks Construction defeated Halifax Young Gunz by a 4-0 count. Daniel Deveau added the fourth goal while Luke Skerry was perfect in nets. Along with league champion Wolfville Merchants, CPC will be in Truro this weekend playing for the Senior B men's provincial title.
