U-12 Girls Win Gold

The U-12 girls representing the Valley in the MISL brought home the play-off championship. After finishing third during league play the girls opened the play-offs with a 3-2 win over Bedford in the semi-final. Macy Chiasson, Jenica Saunders and Anna Flecknell were the goal scorers. In the final, Valley led 1-0 on a Macy Chiasson goal until late in the game when Halifax City knotted the score and sent the result to penalty kicks where Valley came out on top 4-3.

In NSSL playoff action, Valley United settled for three silvers as the 13 girls, senior men and senior women all lost in their respective championship games. See www.valleyunited.ca for details.
